Have you ever looked for a car in the newspaper? Buying a house is even worse. How about telephone soliciting? This method is the fastest way to get the job done so that you can spend your time driving your new car instead of searching for it.

Procedure:

1. Normal Start-up.

2. Place the Input Probe into the Cell.

3. Place your Sample into the Cell on top of the Input Probe plate.

4. Set the Normal/Scan Switch into the Scan position.

5. Type into the window “FTHG / MOST APPROPRIATE CAR (HOUSE, ETC.) FOR THE BEST PRICE.”

6. With the Amplitude at 100, begin at the top of the list and touch each one of the names on the list while stroking the Stick Plate.

7. When you get a stick, put a little star by the item on the paper. Continue down the list making a note each time you get a stick. (As I go down the list I like to mentally ask, “Is this it?” “Is this it?”, etc. each time I move to the next name.)

8. Then go back over the ‘starred’ names, choose two of them and mentally ask, “Of these two names, which is the best?” Eliminate one of the first two by keeping the one that sticks, and then go through the process of elimination until only one or two are left. Then telephone these first. I would keep the other starred ones as well, for backups.

Notes: For telephone soliciting follow the same procedure but in the window type “FTHG / PEOPLE INTERESTED AND CAPABLE OF PURCHASING... (name of product or service). Then complete the scan as before.

Q. Can this be used for lists of Stocks in the same manner?

A. Yes. Keep in mind that the future is in a state of flux and is not a set path. There are strong tendencies on which the flow of time is pulling, but the element of change is the wild card that keeps us excited about life. In the case of major fluctuations or manipulation of the market, I believe these carry quite strong IDFs. One should be able to “read” them quite a long time in advance and have a good degree of accuracy if it is appropriate.

Q. Is there any way to use the Balancing function in regard to business activities?

A. There are many activities that benefit from using the SE-5 plus in the Balance mode. Any time you sense that there is a blockage, you can use the SE-5 plus to ‘clear’ the pathway so that the blockage is diminished. (See Chapter 14 pp128 for details.)
